week 2 day 3 of work placement

i was able to learn the new skill of creating a flat lay, which is where you place down typically i a tray all the different element in room, e.g wall paper, paints, fabric, wood, ect.. to see how it would all look together. these are really good for putting on social media as its then really easy for client to see and inversion there rooms. these were alot harder to do then i thought they would be as things didnt go as well together as i thought they would in my head. i also spent alot of time with my colleague organizing loose fabric samples into different colours, these are also really useful to see and have on hand as it makes it so much easier to pick out exactly what kinda fabric your looking for.  the flat lays could be really useful to make what trying to workout materials for a garment, i could  lay them all up together and see how well they go together. organizing i feel it just a good life skill and could be useful for helping me keep on top of tasks, keep my fabric organized, ect..  when doing flat lays again i would really like to try and just make different ones, as i feel i naturally gravitated towards darker tones, i would really like to push myself and try different colours and different base concept ideas.
